Situation
The LYNCHES is 10 minutes walk from the sea at Lulworth Cove. Built of stone in the last century it faces south with an outstanding view towards the sea on the unspoilt Purbeck coast. The Lynches is surrounded by 2 acres of secluded lawns and gardens including play areas, croque lawn, table tennis and games pavilion. In front of the house there is a wide terrace with a large marble table and chairs for eating out.
The house is extremely comfortable, has a bright and cheerful ambiance and with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is ideal for family parties of up to 10.
There are superb coastal walks east and west from the house. Although the Cove is popular in summer the house is secluded and peaceful.
There is a village pub and others that can be reached by foot across country.

Downstairs there is an entrance hall and cloak room.
The elm and marble kitchen is a good size with a beech wood table. For cooking there is an Aga, two auxiliary gas rings and electric oven with grill. There is also a waste disposer, dish washer, microwave and full ‘batterie de cuisine’ and a walk-in larder with two refrigerators. Opening off the kitchen there is a recently added sunny glass conservatory with breakfast table and chairs.
The dining room looks south and has a large circular oak table which comfortably seats 10. For tableware there is a choice of ample plain white porcelain or pretty Italian hand decorated earthenware.
Off the hall is a laundry room with washer and dryer. A door leads to back entrance lobby with an extra upright fridge-freezer.
The very large living room faces south and west with marble fireplace (wood supplied) and French doors to the front terrace. It is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs. There are also bookcases, piano, disc player and TV with tape and DVD player.
Upstairs are five bedrooms: 3 with double beds, one with twin beds and a fifth bedroom with two single beds, ideal for children. There are 2 bathrooms and a walk shower room.
